In December 2025 Christmas came early for some of the residents of Stretton Park Aged Care. The Rotary Club of Maffra combined with the Rotary Club of Sale to purchase two Princess Chairs. The Chairs allows bedridden residents to move into the lounge area and even outside into the gardens. The chairs can be raised so that residents can eat, or laid back so they can rest. They can be used for hours at a time as they are specially padded and comfortable. Previously one Chair was shared between the 3 residents in need of one, now they can participate in entertainment and even get together.
The Rotary Club of Maffra Princess Chair was purchased with the aid of a District Grant.
