Rotary has numerous programs for our young people.
Welcome back Hannah!
Exchange student Hannah Nicholls has returned home from her 12 months away. Hannah was hosted in Austria by the Rotary club of Klagenfurt and was greeted at the airport by her first host family. Shortly after arriving Hannah attended a 2 week intensive language course which taught all of the exchange students how to learn German.  She stayed in Klagenfurt with 4 host families. Hannah attended a school for art, drama and music. The Rotary Club of Klagenfurt hosted her for 3 meetings in a beautiful double storey building which appeared to be a castle. Hannah enjoyed the Euro tour engaging with the other exchange students as they toured Europe. Hannah loved Monaco, Venice, Rome and Pisa. She met up with BJ (Bjarne) in Velden and visited Slovakia to visit BJ’s sister who lives in Bratislava. While there they visited Prague, Dresden and Berlin. Hannah said she would like to return and spend more time visiting Berlin and Dresden.  Hannah enjoyed a week long skiing camp with other exchange students, hiking, and a traditional Austrian Christmas, complete with snow! Hannah thanked our members for giving her the opportunity to participate in the exchange.
